Manual: SBSAR
Attention! Increase SBSAR Output Resolution to 4096 for intended material output. On import the Output Resolution defaults to 1024. In some cases, lower resolutions will decimate the intended output.
Substance 3D for Unity is free and required for SBSAR use and procedural utilization.
All of the Substance Materials provided by Dark Matter Magic are designed for 4k resolutions. Lower resolutions may decimate and augment the textures.
Upon selecting the SBSAR change the Output Resolution to 4096 within the Unity Inspector.
One of the most basic and essential functions of the SBSAR is the use of the random seed for generative materials. In the video to the left a generative material is iterated using the Random Seed property within the Unity Inspector.
